Mrs Miggins offers a great variety of catared and self-catered luxury ski chalets and accommodation in the ski resorts of Châtel (France) and Champéry (Switzerland).
Both these ski resorts are situated in the heart of the Franco-Swiss ski domain Portes du Soleil.
In total there are 14 ski resorts that are linked by and make up the famous ski domain of the Portes du Soleil.
The area boasts over 650 kilometres of linked pistes making it one of the worlds largest link ski areas.
It is well-served by 208 ski-lifts, all accessible using one single and comprehensive lift pass!
The following 14 French-Swiss ski resorts are part of the Portes du Soleil:
In France: Avoriaz, Châtel, Morzine, Montriond, Les Gets , St Jean d'Aulps, Abondance and La Chapelle;
In Switzerland: Champéry, Torgon, Morgins, Les Crosets, Val d'Illiez and Champoussin.
In the Portes du Soleil ski area you will find a ski challenge for each level.
Each ski resort hosts their own variety of green, blue, red and black runs, with some also offering world class Off Piste Skiing.
Whatever your ability, there is something for everyone, including complete routes and tours for each level through the whole of Portes du Soleil ski area.
There are also excellent facilities for children including specific nursery and beginner slopes.
In the ski resort of Châtel you will find a kids club where little ones will have great fun during their ski holiday and even learn to ski with one of ESF's specifically trained child and toddler ski instructors.
There is also a great selection of non-mountain activities for non-skiiers, big and small.
 With a consistently good snow record, you can be assured of great skiing in the Portes du Soleil.
With a difference in altitude from 1000 - 2000 metres you can always find a resort with agreeable ski conditions.
